Rus Villa
Warmth woven from cultural memory — an interior that draws on Russian domestic traditions to create spaces of generous hospitality and layered comfort.
The warm and elegant interior design of Rus Villa.
Project Narrative
The interior of Rus Villa continues the architectural dialogue between Russian and Turkish sensibilities. Rich textures, deep colour palettes, and substantial furniture pieces create rooms that invite lingering — spaces designed for conversation, gathering, and the rituals of home.
Material sourcing included visits to Russian artisan workshops for bespoke light fixtures and textile houses for custom upholstery fabrics. Each room was developed with a distinct character while maintaining a cohesive thread of warmth and formality throughout.
Walnut panelling, veined marble surfaces, and velvet upholstery define the principal rooms. A bespoke chandelier in the double-height entrance hall establishes the home's character from the moment of arrival.
The interior achieves a quality of timelessness — rooms that feel as though they have always existed, layered with memory and meaning. It is a home that honours its owners' heritage while offering every modern comfort.
