Villa Projesi - Cephe Tasarımı
A study in the expressive potential of the building envelope — where the facade becomes both skin and sculpture.
A villa project shaped by modern facade design.
Project Narrative
The villa's identity is defined entirely by its facade. Rather than treating the exterior as mere cladding, the design uses the building envelope as the primary architectural gesture — a three-dimensional surface that modulates light, privacy, and thermal comfort simultaneously.
Physical scale models at 1:50 were used to study how the facade panels cast shadows at different times of day. Each angle was calibrated to balance solar gain in winter with shading in summer, resulting in a dynamic surface that changes character with the sun's path.
The facade system consists of anodized aluminium panels fixed to a concealed steel subframe. Precision CNC folding gives each panel its unique geometry while maintaining weather-tight performance across the entire envelope.
The completed villa proves that a single design move — the articulated facade — can generate spatial richness without complexity. From the street, the building presents a bold sculptural presence; from within, it frames carefully curated views of the landscape.
