Project Narrative
AS Villa was designed for a family with deep roots in international trade, and the interior reflects a worldly sensibility — collected, layered, and confident. The concept embraces generosity of scale while maintaining intimacy in each room through careful furniture groupings and varied ceiling heights.
The clients' existing art collection and furniture informed the design from day one — each piece was catalogued and given a designated home in the new layout. The floor plan was organised around a central double-height living hall that serves as both gallery and gathering space.
Italian marble flooring, custom bronze hardware, and bespoke silk wallcoverings define the principal spaces. A chef's kitchen in book-matched stone was designed for both formal entertaining and casual family meals, with an adjacent pantry and service zone that keeps the main space pristine.
At 750 m², AS Villa could easily feel cavernous, but the interior design ensures every room feels inhabited and purposeful. The home has become a venue for the family's social and cultural life — a place where business dinners, children's birthdays, and quiet Sunday mornings each find their perfect setting.
