MG Demir Çelik

Steel forged into form — a facility that embodies the raw power of the material it processes, tempered by architectural discipline.

A strong and functional structure designed for the steel industry.

Project Narrative

01Concept

For a steel manufacturer, the building itself becomes a statement about the material's potential. The design uses exposed steel structure as both engineering and expression, celebrating the product that gives the company its identity.

02Design Process

The structural engineering was developed in close collaboration with the client's own metallurgists, ensuring that the building's steel connections showcase fabrication techniques that mirror the precision of the company's core business.

03Execution

Portal frames spanning 30 metres create vast, unobstructed production halls. The roof incorporates north-facing clerestory windows that flood the interior with even, glare-free light — essential for quality control on the factory floor.

04Outcome

MG Demir Celik stands as an honest building — one where structure, material, and purpose are in complete alignment. The facility has become a landmark in the industrial zone, proving that factories deserve the same design attention as any other building type.
