Project Narrative
KA Evi strips the residential programme to its essence. The design employs a limited vocabulary — white planes, shadow gaps, and full-height glass — to create rooms that feel larger than their dimensions and calmer than the city beyond.
Every material junction was detailed at 1:1 scale to eliminate visual noise. The absence of conventional skirting boards, architraves, and visible fixings creates surfaces that appear to float — an effect that requires extraordinary precision in construction.
The structure uses insulated concrete forms with seamless white render, achieving the monolithic appearance the design demands. Recessed LED lighting integrated into ceiling reveals provides soft ambient illumination without visible fixtures.
KA Evi proves that minimalism is not austerity but generosity — the generosity of space, light, and quiet. Its restraint creates a canvas upon which daily life unfolds with unusual clarity.
