Project Narrative
The design approaches residential life through a simple and clear composition. The strong contrast between anthracite upper facade panels and light ground-floor surfaces is balanced by broad glazing, creating a transparent living area integrated with the landscape.
Massing proportions and material junctions were resolved carefully to avoid visual clutter. Deep vertical window cuts create rhythm on the facade, while the structural projection and linear lighting between floors strengthen the impression of the upper volume floating.
The intended monolithic and sharp massing effect was achieved through the seamless junction of a wide-eaved standing seam metal roof and smooth facade cladding. Rejecting conventional details, the composition focuses on formal simplicity and clear architectural lines.
KA Evi creates a strong architectural expression with a restrained color and material palette. Natural light entering through broad transparent surfaces offers a functional, spacious, and clearly defined calm living environment.
