CM Evi

Clean lines and warm materiality compose a family home where simplicity becomes the foundation for a rich domestic life.

A family residence with modern and clean lines.

Project Narrative

Constructed villa with timber slats, stone cladding, and expansive lawn
01Concept

CM Evi was designed for a family that values clarity over complexity. The plan is organised around a central double-height living space that acts as the home's lung — drawing light in from above and connecting all rooms through visual and spatial relationships.

02Design Process

The family's daily routines were mapped to ensure that the kitchen, dining, and living spaces flow into one another for weekday efficiency, while a secluded study and garden room provide places of individual retreat.

03Execution

A palette of off-white render, natural oak, and honed limestone gives the interiors a warm, tactile quality. The flat roof extends into generous eaves that shelter outdoor terraces and provide passive solar shading to the south-facing glazing.

04Outcome

CM Evi is a house that does not demand attention — it simply provides the backdrop for a good life. Its unassuming elegance has allowed the family's personality to become the home's true character.
