Project Narrative

Lobby lounge render with dark leather armchairs, marble floor, and floor lamps
01Concept

The interior continues the architectural narrative of the hotel's exterior while creating its own world. Each floor and suite offers a distinct atmosphere — from the spa-like serenity of the wellness level to the rich materiality of the dining spaces — united by a thread of understated elegance.

02Design Process

Guest experience mapping drove every design decision. Arrival sequences, room layouts, and even the placement of light switches were choreographed to anticipate needs before they arise. Material selections were tested with overnight stays in the mock-up suite.

03Execution

Natural stone, dark-stained timber, and hand-finished plaster create a material world that ages beautifully. Bespoke furniture pieces were crafted by regional artisans, grounding the hotel in its German context while avoiding folk pastiche.

04Outcome

Guests describe a feeling of being held — an interior that cocoons without confining. The hotel has earned recognition for its design-led hospitality, with the interior cited as the key differentiator in an already competitive market.
