Project Narrative
The design is grounded in reflecting the coastal geography through structural interior elements. Rough-cut stone walls and light timber ceiling beams combine with white surfaces and simple furniture to define the project's natural character and spacious organization.
The humid, salty microclimate of the region made durability central to material selection. Textures that add visual warmth were chosen from long-lasting, functional materials able to resist demanding coastal conditions.
Light timber flooring, natural stone walls, and white-painted timber ceiling beams shape the interior. The marble texture of the kitchen island creates a modern contrast with these natural surfaces, while broad window openings maximize daylight.
E. Tapan Villas brings rustic and modern elements together to create a functional, restrained family home in harmony with its surroundings.
